In this episode of the animated Christian children’s series, Tony the Frog starts a paper route that consumes his life. His delivery tactics are quite aggressive and he carelessly destroys others’ property and deserts his friends in order to build his empire. His friends are concerned and pray for him. There is a stock market crash and Tony’s company is left in shambles. His friends send him a picture of all of them, and he returns to them and apologizes.

A small amount of humorous “violence” occurs when Tony seeks faster delivery for the papers. He starts with a bow and arrow on horseback, then graduates to a tank and finally a military plane and “bombs” his customers with their newspapers.

This episode offers a lesson on idolatry (putting money before God), and there are subtle undertones of Christianity. The show teaches a good lesson in a kid-friendly way.

Because of its portrayal of positive values, the Parents Television Council is proud to award The Rise and Fall of Tony the Frog with the PTC Seal of ApprovalTM. The PTC recommends this program children ages 3 and up.
